Recap: Golden Triangle Architecture Exhibition Series: Denver Art Museum
Darrin Alfred, Curator of Architecture and Design at the Denver Art Museum, guided this tour of the DAM’s newly expanded design galleries. Spanning a combined 11,000 square feet of new and renovated space, the Amanda J. Precourt Galleries and Joanne Posner-Mayer Mezzanine Gallery provide a dynamic setting for visitors to engage more deeply with design in a rich architectural context. As Darrin shared insights into the conceptualization and realization of this major undertaking, he also discussed the DAM’s two inaugural design exhibitions: By Design: Stories and Ideas Behind Objects and Gio Ponti: Designer of a Thousand Talents.
