Celebrate the much-anticipated renovatio
About the event: Travel through time on Colfax Avenue during the final evening of Doors Open Denver 2024 to marvel at the transformation of the La Vista Motel. This site was originally built in the hey-day of car travel in 1956 but had since disintegrated into a forgotten eyesore. This fall, it will be newly revived and revealed as an impeccably renovated, thoroughly modernized boutique hotel. Enjoy insider tours of the property, a ’50s style supper buffet, fully hosted bar, and a live DJ’s musical selections. Mingle with the creative teams from St. Bernard Properties, Sopher Sparn Architects, and Xan Creative whose clever collaborations and dogged determination have transformed La Vista. The La Vista team joins other visionary developers, designers, planners and residents who are en route to revitalize our Colfax Avenue.
