The tour culminates with a cocktail and unique Q&A session with owner and founder Al Laws and a lead architect from BOSS, offering a rare opportunity to delve into the creative and technical aspects behind the distillery.
About the building: Laws Whiskey House encompasses approximately 6,000 square feet of cutting-edge Brutalist design by BOSS Architecture. This three-story space, including a basement, showcases the raw beauty of cinderblock, glass, and cement, with standout features such as a central circular atrium, a two-story cathedral-style window, and potential plans for a rooftop expansion. The building’s striking design elements perfectly complement the innovative whiskey production processes within.
About the tour guide: Casey Rizzo, Brand Manager, has held a variety of roles at Laws Whiskey House, starting with guest education and hospitality as a Senior Brand Ambassador, and expanding to her current role as Brand Manager, where she oversees national marketing communications and whiskey education. With a strong background in hospitality and event management, Casey is thrilled to elevate her passion for whiskey to new heights in her career. Her enthusiasm for the spirit is undeniable, and she rarely misses an opportunity to dive deep into the world of whiskey.
Accessibility: Due to ongoing construction, the elevator may not be working during the tour. As a result, stairs will be required to enjoy the full tour experience.
