About the tour: Join 4240 Architecture to explore the projects and experiences that have uniquely shaped the firm over the last couple decades—work rooted in some of the world’s most distinct mountain environments. From intimate alpine lodges to large-scale, mixed-use resort developments, 4240 will share stories spanning multiple scales, typologies, and architectural vernacular within and across roughly thirty mountain communities. As a Denver-based studio with more than two decades of experience working in high-country alpine settings, 4240 will share how their collaborative, research-driven approach fosters a cross pollination of ideas and creative outcomes for hospitality, residential, and mixed-use designs.
This event is designed as not just a project presentation and studio tour, but engaging conversation about the evolution of mountain living, seasonal travel, and recreation — and how architecture responds to and influences the future of mountain enjoyment.
