On April 28 we’re going to step inside one of Ballpark’s few early 20th-century hotel and saloon buildings that is still intact. We’ll don hard hats and PPE and explore the partially demolished interior and fully restored brick façade. We’ll learn about the building’s original construction, its evolution through multiple hospitality and commercial uses, its period of decline, and the preservation-first approach guiding its stabilization and future reimagining.
