We are thrilled to welcome Allison Altaras to the We are thrilled to welcome Allison Altaras to the board of directors of the Denver Architecture Foundation!

Allison is a partner in the Denver office of law firm of Holland & Hart, where she co-chairs the firm’s Land Use and Economic Development practice group. Allison’s lifelong interest in both the natural and built environments led her to specialize in land use law as part of her general commercial real estate practice. She helps landowners, investors, and developers navigate complex real estate transactions and secure critical entitlements and infrastructure for their projects. Landowners wishing to conserve or add value to their land turn to Allison for her extensive experience working with land trusts, public lands managers, renewable energy developers, rural economic development programs, and natural resource transactions. Allison knows that sound land use and development plans are rooted in context, place, and community, and enjoys helping clients with community outreach and strategic engagement with stakeholders.

Earlier in her legal career, Allison practiced water and environmental law and served as an appellate law clerk for the Colorado Supreme Court. Allison is a frequent speaker on land use and real estate topics. She serves on the Local Affairs Policy Council of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and previously served on the boards of Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado, the Colorado Legal Aid Foundation, the University of Denver Water Law Review, and the Tulane Alumni Association. In her free time, Allison enjoys horseback riding, live music, reading, cooking, and adventuring outdoors with her husband and two daughters.

Please join us in welcoming Allison to the DAF board!

Have you seen the new renderings from the Denver B Have you seen the new renderings from the Denver Broncos for their forthcoming stadium district and neighborhood at Burnham Yard?

From Catie Cheshire in the Denver Business Journal:

“The 58-acre former railyard sits at the center of what could total up to 150 acres of development, according to past statements by Broncos team president Damani Leech. After a community meeting in February, the Broncos went back to the drawing board with the “extensive community feedback” to implement design changes, resulting in the new imagery, according to an announcement story on the team’s website.”
