This building is poised to become not only one of Denver’s most recognized landmarks, but a unique site in our country.

Hear from the Populus’ Experience Director about the guiding principles of innovation and sustainability woven into every aspect of the building’s design and operations. Learn how this vision was realized for conscious waste reduction, minimal ecological footprints, and ethically-driven decision.

Circulate among other curious architecture enthusiasts, architects, designers, builders, and urban planners in the stunning second floor lounge while enjoying cocktails and festive fare. The evening will blend past, present, and future as a talented DJ from the Something Vinyl Club spins records. Bring your own vinyl if you would like to have it included in the playlist!

About Populus: The exterior of the hotel is designed to look like an Aspen tree, with a white curved shape and 65 different window shapes. Among the hotel’s appointments are artwork made from mushrooms and compostable floor coverings.

A community of environmentalists and entrepreneurs imagined a hotel inspired by nature. Populus was created by Urban Villages, designed by AD100 architecture firm Studio Gang and led by MacArthur Fellow Jeanne Gang, brought to life my interior designer Heather Wildman of Wildman Chalmer Designs, with a thoughtful art program curated by environmentalist Katherin Homes, and operated by Aparium Hotel Group.
