Last month’s lecture featuring internationally acc Last month’s lecture featuring internationally acclaimed architect Tom Kundig in conversation with Sarah Broughton was a truly special event. Their discussion explored Kundig’s unique approach to residential architecture and his evolving creative processes behind some of the firm’s most compelling homes.

Attendees heard Kundig’s personal views on how thoughtful residential design can respond to its environment with innovation and imagination and what risk-taking in design has in common with skiing through the trees.

Special thanks to Design Workshop as the event sponsor, Docomomo US/Colorado as event supporter, and the Denver Art Museum as venue sponsor.

Join the Denver Architecture Foundation and RiNo A Join the Denver Architecture Foundation and RiNo Art District as we explore the RiNo ArtPark at Arkins Park and the surrounding studio spaces through the lenses of adaptive reuse, public space design, creative placemaking, and cultural infrastructure. We’ll tour the ArtPark campus, learn about the rehabilitation of former industrial and municipal buildings into an interdisciplinary arts and cultural hub, and explore how architecture, landscape, and community partnerships have shaped this evolving public space along the South Platte River. Additional details and tickets available at denverarchitecture.org.

Our upcoming walking tour of the National Western Our upcoming walking tour of the National Western Center campus is sold out, and that’s no surprise to us. The NWC redevelopment project is a visionary transformation of the historic National Western Complex to address animal health and performance and provide for water, energy, agriculture, and rodeo events while prioritizing local neighborhood integration and community benefits. We look forward to learning about the project firsthand! For early access to all our tours, become a Denver Architecture Foundation member at denverarchitecture.org.
