Curated in partnership with Colorado Poet Laureate Bobby LeFebre, Artist Carlos Frésquez, MSU Center for Visual Art, Su Teatro and Museo de las Américas, activities will highlight poets, actors, visual artists and more!

The Architecture of Community

This year’s Bonfils-Stanton Foundation supported Doors Open Denver Arts + Culture Activities will be concentrated in the La Alma/Lincoln Park neighborhood. Join us for a step back into the influential 50s/60s/70s Chicano/Latino culture of La Alma/Lincoln Park with a Santa Fe Drive exhibition of wheat pasted historic building “plaques”, created in collaboration with Metropolitan State University of Denver Communication Design students, and enriching cultural experiences. Enjoy live acting, art making, spoken word and community! Don’t forget to partake of the culinary delights offered at each site.
