About the tour: During this tour we will take a peek behind the curtain of the process it took to open a new Champagne bar in the RiNo Arts District. We will look at some conceptual imagery and precedents that led to our current state of elegance and whimsy. The restaurant will provide a welcome drink and small snack.

About the building: Tucked beside the bustling Denver Central Market in RiNo, a neighborhood known for its industrial warehouses and graffiti-covered streets, La Vie En Rose transports you to another time and place.
Inspired by the Art Deco and Art Nouveau eras of Paris, the space is draped in plush purple velvet, cascading along the walls and over the bar. The result is a dramatic contrast to the raw, rough-edged streets just outside—a place to settle in, take a deep breath, savor the perfect sip of bubbly, and surround yourself with something a little unexpected, a little romantic, and a little whimsical.
About the tour guides: Kevin Nguyen, AIA, is the steady hand behind Regular Architecture—equal parts architect, operator, and quiet culture-setter. He specializes in translating complex operational realities into spaces that work seamlessly and feel effortlessly right. An award-winning architect, expert kitchen planner, and certified foodie, Kevin brings deep expertise across restaurant, hospitality, and retail environments. His portfolio includes three of Denver’s Michelin-starred restaurants and many of the city’s most influential dining concepts. Kevin’s approach is grounded in how spaces function, flow, and feel; balancing guest experience, kitchen efficiency, and long-term viability with refined, intentional design. Driven by a deep respect for people, community, and craft, Kevin believes great architecture starts with empathy – and maybe a Ted Lasso rewatch or two.
Accessibility and Parking: La Vie En Rose is ADA accessible through Nocturne’s entrance, which has a ramp. The Gallery tables can accommodate wheelchair seating. The bar is not accessible, and while the banquette may be possible, the space is a tight squeeze.Street parking is available throughout the area, though parking in RiNo can sometimes be challenging. Given the 5:00pm start time, there should be parking available nearby, but we recommend planning a little extra time.
Refund policy: The Denver Architecture Foundation is a nonprofit educational organization. Ticket sales support the Foundation in continuing to provide quality events to the public. We are unable to provide refunds or credits for any reason less than 48 hours prior to the event.
