Tour: Allen True Murals and Adaptive Reuse at Renaissance Denver – March 21

March 21, 2018

On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, we are touring Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center Hotel from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. The Renaissance Hotel is one of Denver’s premier adaptive reuse sites, complete with functioning bank vault doors and grand interiors, as it was formerly home to Colorado National Bank. Michael Gayle, Lead Navigator with the Renaissance Hotel, will guide the tour. Please convene in the main lobby prior to 4:30 PM.

About the tour: This adventure will include the iconic western muralist Allen Tupper True’s Indian Memories – a series of 16 murals – and feature historic elements from the building’s original early 20th century construction as well as a history of the Colorado National Bank. During the tour patrons will visit two guest rooms, a meeting room, bank vaults and the hotel’s restaurant, “range”, including a special taste of their signature candied habanero bacon.

Please note, there is paid garage parking and metered street parking available nearby. As always, we encourage the use of public transportation, Lyft or Uber. Thank you.
