  • Site Hours and Activities

Open Sites are the heart of Doors Open Denver. The sites that open their doors on both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM – and activate their spaces in meaningful ways – are the most rewarding experiences for attendees. Examples of site activation include kid-friendly activities, special exhibits or performances and mini guided tours (30 minutes or less) throughout DOD weekend hours. Please note, site managers must also be available 30 minutes before their site opens and 30 minutes after it closes.

Our members-only tour of 2100 Larimer is already s Our members-only tour of 2100 Larimer is already sold out, but we’re telling you about it anyway — it’s too cool not to share. On April 28 we’re going to step inside one of Ballpark’s few early 20th-century hotel and saloon buildings that is still intact. We’ll don hard hats and PPE and explore the partially demolished interior and fully restored brick façade. We’ll learn about the building’s original construction, its evolution through multiple hospitality and commercial uses, its period of decline, and the preservation-first approach guiding its stabilization and future reimagining. We can hardly wait!

Make sure you get early access to this and other outstanding experiences by becoming a member of the Denver Architecture Foundation! Details via our link in bio or at denverarchitecture.org!

Doors Open Denver 2026 will celebrate Destination Doors Open Denver 2026 will celebrate Destination Downtown, an exploration of the architecture, urban planning, urban design, and public spaces at the heart of Denver. As the state marks its 150th anniversary, this year’s programming will highlight Denver’s remarkable downtown renaissance now underway: the reinvention of the 16th Street Corridor, the revitalization of historic landmarks, and the surge of bold thinking and contemporary design reshaping the urban core. More information about this year’s schedule is coming soon!
