About the Posner Center: The Posner Center Launched in 2013 as a grand experiment: the world’s first collaborative center for international development, a place where nonprofit organizations could share space, resources, knowledge and experience. Together, they found others who believed, raised support and renovated Denver’s historic Horse Barn.

When the architects at Tres Birds first became acquainted with this 30,000 square foot building, originally used for parking police horses in the 1800s, there were partial roof collapses, delaminating masonry bearing walls and failing floor structures. What started as a building with major structural challenges has ended up a place of renewed strength, beauty and purpose as a nonprofit, international development and local neighborhood hub.

Today, the Posner Center has grown to a thriving and engaged community, transforming global development through collaboration.

Accessibility: The Posner Center is an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant building, with ADA compliant front and back entrances, dedicated parking space, bathrooms, kitchen, and an elevator.
