Emily Griffith Technical was founded in 1916 and is one of the country’s first tech colleges. Guests will tour the Trades Campus building, which is a newer location for the college. In 2014, the building was renovated and repurposed into a state-of-the-art educational training facility for programs like welding, automotive service, HVAC, water-quality management and GIS. Guests will have a chance to view training facilities that simulate real-world work environments.
